Having worked with numerous Talents both on the local and international circuit, has developed a need for me to establish a dynamic workflow in the Commentary environment.

It has taught me how to integrate the needs of the Talent and the audio system design to get the best output for the production.

It has also allowed me to create channels to engage Talents about the most relevant best practices in an ever changing technical world.

A more scientific approach to troubleshooting involving understanding how to create connections using Radio Frequency and to perfect the communication of relevant devices from range and clear of any obstacles.

Having done sound editing for both Film and Broadcast Creative Content, I have combined the similarities between Software Operations in Post Production and the technical operations on a live production.

It has inspired me to always keep the creative thought in mind whilst applying technical service to a live production.

It has provided understanding to the limitations the various environments could offer, giving me the upper hand to improve the audio quality by applying Industry Standard Post Mixing techniques.

The core outcome of my degree was to understand how to enhance and manipulate audio elements by exploring different techniques that could alter frequencies and provoke guided audience reactions.

Having worked on Local Film productions I have gained the knowledge to aid the audience's emotions and guide them to a more fulfilled experience in front of the Big Screen.

As part of my studies, understanding the basics of recording Audio in a range of varying environments by using remote recording solutions became pivotal to the start of my career in the Entertainment Industry.

Having the mentorship and guidance from two of South Africa’s most Professionally proclaimed Location Recordist Nico Louw and Athur Koundouris, I gained the experience and understanding of the importance of isolating and perfecting audio recordings in the most challenging environments.
